She has a solid foundation in rich and devotional Kuchipudi, a professional degree, made performances all around the world and has a natural charming and gracious presence.. she is in fact "enchanting, educating and empowering" dancer. 

Introduction:

       Prateeksha Kashi hails from an artistic family of the legendary Dr Gubbi Veeranna and was introduced to dance at a tender age. She trained in Kuchipudi under the guidance of her mother and Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Guru VyjayanthiKashi, a Kuchipudi dance performer and choreographer. 

      Prateeksha attained distinction at the Junior and Senior dance examinations conducted by the State Government, Prateeksha has also received a scholarship by the Central Government of India to advance her studies in Kuchipudi.

Performances, Recognitions:

              Prateeksha has performed in reputed dance festivals at regional, national and International levels. She is an empanelled artist of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Prateeksha has toured various countries including Australia, UK, China, Italy to perform and also to conduct Kuchipudi workshops along with her mother and Guru. She was polled by the audience to be the winner of the dance competition held at New York.

Prateeksha is an "A" grade artist of the broadcasting media-Dooradarshan Kendra. She has the titles of NalandaNritya Nipuna, instituted by the renowned Nalanda Dance Research Centre and Nritya Jyoti, awarded at the NaveenKalakar to her credits. Prateeksha was awarded "Aditya Birla Kalakiran Puraskar" in the year 2014.

 Her other awards include Kalabharathi Yuva Pratibha Award, NatyavedhaAward, Aryabhata International Award and YoungDancer Award.
                    
Academics:

Prateeksha's passion extends beyond dance. She has excelled in her academics and has secured the gold medal in Computer Science Engineering. 

Acting:

She has had an initial footing in the theatre domain and has been featured in art movies and tele films. She has also acted in the short movie “Dwar-Door to transformation” with an interest to spread awareness about the safety of women. The art movie “Prakruti” that she featured in won the National Award. With a keen interest to spread Kuchipudi and to inspire the youth towards it, Prateeksha coaches dance aspirants. She has released the Kuchipudi DVD titled “The Magic of Kuchipudi” featuring the choreographic works of her guru Smt Vyjayanthi Kashi.
